Plane crash in Karachi: “We have lost engines,” the pilot’s last words

PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) flight – PK – 8303 carried 99 passengers from Lahore to Karachi on Friday, May 22, 2020. A plane rammed into residential area near Karachi airport.  

Passengers 97 died, with two survivors – 19 dead bodies were identified, said Sindh Health department.

Official authorities have said that the investigation to be led into case and government announced; compensation one million will be given to those who were killed and 500,000 given to two survivors.

According to reports; “My pilots were qualified, their checks and balances, and medical tests were complete. My cabin crew was also qualified and my plane’s inspection was also complete,” said PIA Chief Executive Officer Air Marshal Arshad Malik.

The pilot whose last words that “We are returning, sir, we have lost engines.”
