Sindh Students demand the restoration of Student Unions in Sindh

Students in Sindh have been struggling for the restoration of student unions in the province. Thus, Students held protests and marches to make the provincial government realise that they should unban student union which was banned by dictator Zia Ul Haq. 

The Rise News spoke to Ali Saqlain, president at Sindh Students Council that had been working for the students and voicing for the restoration of student union. Ali Saqlain is of opinion that student union will increase the political consciousness among students. He criticized political dynasty and none of political parties were willing to restore student union because it could reduce dominated power in the politics arena.  

“It was Sindh that had raised the voice for student union when others were silent,” says Ali Saqlain. He criticized Sindh government for not restoring student union after 18th amendment and the government promised to restore it.
