Christian girl has been abducted and converted to Islam in Karachi, girl is said to be a minor.
According to tweet Khael Das, member of National Assembly and PMLN who shared news and requested Bilawal Bhutto to look into a matter.
Girl’s mother whose name is Nagina said that “she has two girls and both are innocents. Abdul Jabbar who has abducted her daughter, 14 year old.” Today, they did not present her daughter in the court.
The Rise News acquired documents of which showing girl’s age and another document stating her National Identity Card [NIC] and name Mahak.
Sindh government enacted a law against child marriage bill, but Child Marriage Restrain Act does not apply to Non-Muslim girls because government has failed to protect minor girls who have been abducted and converted to Islam.
The Rise News spoke to Khael Das, saying, Sindh government should implement its Child Marriage Act; girl is a minor. We will raise issue at National Assembly and at committee which is working forced conversion bill.
The Rise News has not received response from members of Sindh government Hari Raam and Murtaza Wahab despite having sent messages on the issue.
