Diya Bheel was mutilated on December 27, 2022, in Sinjhoro, district Sanghar. The police incriminated Diya’s family members in her murder case.
After three months, a DNA report was submitted, claiming that no DNA was found among the suspects. The 42 suspects’ samples were collected whose DNA did not match Diya’s clothes and other items. DNA report is in The Rise News’s possession. The police refused to share it but TRN managed to obtain it.
The police claim that DNA matches, and on other hand, it avoids sharing the DNA result. Moreover, the DNA report has used ambiguous language but it keeps stating that DNA does not find among collected samples.
When no DNA is found among the suspects, why Diya’s family members are still in jail despite the victim’s family has been complaining about unfair behavior of the local police.
Other sources claim that a local influential person where Diya and her family worked on his land, and his Kumdar’s simple was not gathered even though he was seen instructing the police whom to arrest.
During the initial investigation, the police held a conference and said that Diya’s case was highlighted in international media and gave the impression about her murder that Muslims had killed her. However, her family was involved in the case.
The police seem to have implicated family members since the first and have not led the investigation, thoroughly.
Diya’s brutal murder shook society and developed fear among Hindus that they are not safe.
