Sindh: Minor Hindu girls have been abducted from different cities of Sindh – two of them got converted at Bhurchundi shrine in Daharki, Ghotki.
Kaveeta Meghwar who was abducted from her home on 7th March, 2021 in Daharki her father was promised to meet his daughter at Bhurchundi.
Aarti Meghwar’s father whose name was Kirshan Lal [on official papers his name stated as Ramesh Lal] spoke to The Rise News that he was allowed to meet his daughter at Bhurchundi which was just photo session and nothing more. He explained what happened at meeting when he had met Kaveeta. He was not ready to disclose his meeting in media because of his family safety.
Kirshan Lal says, “No one helped him. He has lost his daughter.”
On 8th March, 2021 Kaveeta Odd got abducted, later, found at Bhurchundi, and seen converting into Islam. Kaveeta’s father Takhat Odd said, everyone knew that our daughter was forcibly kidnapped from home. She was an innocent and being threatened, she had spoken in media whatever she had been told.
Takhat said, he had been informed that his case transferred to Ghotki from Tangwani, Kashmore. He wondered how his case had been transferred to Ghotki. “Not a single person from government has contacted him, yet” he adds; his daughter has not married off to man, yet. But she lives at Bhurchundi shrine.”

Veerji Kohli, Sindh Chief Minister’s special assistant and a lawyer said, they had been following cases of girls under the Child Marriage Restraint Act who were kidnapped and converted to Islam. It would be possible that Khamore case transferred to Ghotki without the order of Sindh High Court.
Another girl Amiyaan Kohli went missing from Mirpurkhan on 3rd March, 2021, said Veerji Kohli.
According initial reports, in 27-days, three Hindu girls were kidnapped and converted to Islam and forth Amiyaan is missing.
