A man who belongs to Meghwar community in Shahdadpur, city of Sindh, the province, Pakistan – has been accused of blasphemy. Group of people held protest against community and demanded that three men should be arrested.
One of them is arrested and First Information report has been registered.
In Sindh, within 24-Hours, this is another incident reported. On 2nd November, 2020 mob vandalized the Temple over made-up blasphemy charges.
Moreover, Two Temples had been vandalized last month, in Sindh.
Murtaza Wahab, Sindh government spokesperson says that his government stands by the law and they believe in Human Rights. “The inquiry should be held into such incidents and no innocent should be punished.”

Ravi Dawani, Secretary General at All Pakistan Hindu Panchayat said that his community had seen such incident during past 24-hours – they believed in religious harmony. And, incidents must be investigated, thoroughly.
“Whenever, such kind of incident erupts our Temples are being vandalized. Why the state ignores attacks on us, Ravi Dawani asks; “Those vandalize our Mortis, blasphemy case should be filed against them.”
It is said that in Shahdadpur, the Hindu community asked not to venture out until the situation is brought under control.
